One of the Beeb's greatest ever DJs.
He first brought the "zoo" concept to the UK - that is, not just a DJ, but a whole team of people in the studio.
His Steve Wright In The Afternoon show on Radio 1 was my favourite ever radio show.
Some of his Radio 2 colleagues were in tears yesterday & today.

kerrins, I recently saw a poster advertising one of those 60s groups tours;
lots of bands on it, including Dozy, Beaky Mick & Titch (i.e., no Dave Dee);
yet Titch's obit said that 1 or 2 of the others were also dead - so I wonder who
took their place in the line-up??

Steveqpr 881. I reckon Dave Dee is Dead. I think he was one of the first of the group to become deceased.

Bit of a backlog to get through:
R.I.P. ex-footballer Chris Nicholl ( Saints, Villa & Norn Iron); comic Richard Lewis &
'hairy biker' Dave Myers.
