The top-of-the-table clash last night at the Powerday Stadium ended in
a 2-2 draw.
After a decent start, second-placed Bournemouth then had the best of the 1st half
as they exploited the gaps in our defence.
Both their goals were created down the left-flank by the impressive Noa Boutin.
ht: 0-2
Rangers soon took hold of the game after the break & began to create numerous
chances.
And we pulled a goal back after Alfie Tuck's shot was stopped with a diving one-handed
save. Micah Anthony, who had a vg 2nd half, scrambled the ball in from the resulting
corner.
Kieran Petrie equalised from a side-footed shot which may have got a slight
deflection?
More attempts followed, including a Alfie Lloyd header which cleared the crossbar.
Team: Salamon, Harrack, Shann, Tuck, Powell (trialist), Hawkins, Petrie, Sackey,
Lloyd. Murphy (capt), Anthony.
No subs were brought on but the bench included some of the U18s squad:
Harry Cant, Jaden Ogwuazor, Samuel Manufor, Youssef Yahyaoui & Nathan Jeche.
Thanks to Joe English for the lift back.
