The Good Old Days

Post by steveqpr881 »

When we could not only win a game, but score a hat-full of goals as well.
On this day in history, 7th November 1973, the score in the League Cup 3rd Round was
QPR 8 (EIGHT), Sheffield Wednesday 2.

I was there for that Sheffield wed game.....and the 3-0 home defeat by Plymouth in the following round. :(
Plymouth got to the the Semi Finals that season losing to Manchester City. Rodney Marsh playing for City.
