Our coach was caught up in the traffic jam pre-match but unlike
the team coach, we turned up
After a minutes applause for Sir Bobby Charlton the game kicked-off
13 minutes late.
Both sides were poor in the 1st half with the home side producing one
shot on target. Rangers didn't manage one during the whole game
Jimmy Dunne really should know better for his first yellow, not only that,
he was shown a second one for his protests a minute or so later when
West Brom were awarded a penalty
From 57 mins on, it was pretty much all West Brom & it woke up the home fans.
Pointless playing Lyndon Dykes with the way Gareth Ainsworth set out the team.
Totally anonymous, probably also frustrated.
Because of Sinclair Armstrong's physical presence, he doesn't get the
justice he sometimes deserves. He was put down off the ball & later he was fouled
in the box sandwiched between two defenders
Many of the 700ish R's support did also bear it to the end & some vented their anger
at the players who came over to clap them.
I understand Gareth Ainsworth headed for the tunnel.

Re: West Brom - Last Night....
I was not at the game but it seemed to me from reports that right from the very first kick
our one and only intention was to play for a 0-0 draw, Sadly the plan failed.
The strategy of trying to play a containment game and hope that something will turn up in my book is
not really a good idea especially when you have isolated Strikers who cant hit a barn door.
With the opposition having all the attacking initiative one mistake by the defence (and its usually more
than one)....one goal and its all over!

Re: West Brom - Last Night....
Watched the pathetic offering on Red Button (fortunately no replays )
We were not playing Real Madrid but an under strength very poor WBA!
So why did we decide to defend only hoping for a draw. They were there for the taking and one point
would hardly help our position. A very poor WBA side.
Dunne should know better and I read somewhere he was scuffing up the penalty spot for his second card!
A truly awful team performance with the only slightly bright spot being Cannon.

Re: West Brom - Last Night....
When the manager sends out a team employing those tactics, there is only one outcome
and it is usually the opposition that wins.
Unfortunately Ainsworth cannot be held responsible for the brainless Jimmy Dunne, his behaviour last night
was a disgrace and he let us down badly.
Jake Clarke-Salter is “allegedly” a fit young sportsman, I have seen no evidence of that since he joined QPR.
A poor signing with a history of injuries before he signed, yet we gave this sick note a 4 year contract.
Madness.
