3-1 Win for the Development Squad Earlier this Evening....

Post by Steve Russell »

Team: Salamon, Jude-Boyd, Larkeche, Harrack, Hawkins,
Drewe, Richards, Aoraha, LLoyd, Dixon-Bonner, Kolli

Rangers took the lead around 26 mins following a good build-up & a
nice touch by Rayan Kolli found Kayden Harrack who then drilled
the ball home. ht: 1-0.

The visitors started the stronger but it was the R's who doubled their
lead. Once again nice work by Rayan Kolli set-up Elijah Dixon-Bonner
who fired the ball into the net on 54 mins.

Swansea pulled a goal back.

On 66 mins Paul Furlong brought on Raff Pedder & Steven Bala at the
expense of Taylor Richards & Dixon-Bonner.
Taylor Richards looked sharp & did well.

Alfie Lloyd wrapped it up with the goal of the game.
Running through with a defender on his shoulder, he persevered &
slightly off balance he smashed the ball into the back of the net.

Excellent play by Alex Aoraha 25 yds out when he turned , kept going
under pressure, beat his marker & his effort just cleared the bar.

Swansea were still looking dangerous & Ziyad Larkeche virtually threw
himself at the ball to provide an excellent block.

Matteo Salamon was solid again, came off his line when required & all in all,
it was a good all-round team performance.

Deon Woodman told me he was still nursing an ankle injury & expected
to be side-lined for another 3 weeks or so.
