The coach included a couple of US R's fans & Simon Lavall's superb
'Trevor Francis' Mush from Shepherd's Bush' flag & we arrived at
St. Andrews at half-six.
Simon had got permission to lay out his flag in the Tilton End.
Well done to him.
As for the game, full-on team performance.
We have certainly tightened up the defence & what an amazing
overhead goal-line clearance that was from Sam Field!!!!
And 2/3 superb saves from Asmir Begovic
Their keeper did well to keep out efforts from Paul Smyth & Lyndon.
Corners/free kicks were a bit wayward & just four efforts on target.
Loud & proud support from the 1,300 travelling Rangers fans.

Re: Birmingham Last Night...
Terrific performance up there and a well deserved point at the end of the day, St. Andrews is always
a tough place to go and try and get a result. But full credit to the players, coaches and management,
some great challenges, some great blocks and players actually putting their bodies on the line for the team.
Well done to you all.

Re: Birmingham Last Night...
A good point . Hard earned
Although not much sophistication or possession in our football and nothing up front....
we can Contain, Dig in and Battle.
If we had Jamie Vardy as lone striker with no support...who knows we could have been in
the top six by now

Re: Birmingham Last Night...
We would reduce even him to a goal missing machine
