3-0 win over Sheffield United at Heston yesterday.

Goals from Jake Leahy & two from Lorenzo Strachan

I was at Southampton but told.....

'We didn't create many chances but were in control
for 90 mins. Sheffield Utd were poor.

Hassan Hamid was played in by Emmerson Sutton on
the right, he drifted past his marker & let fly from 20yds
& the keeper made an ex save at full-strength, tipping the
ball onto the bar & out for a corner.

On 12mins our early dominance saw us take the lead & it was
from an unusual source. Some slick interchange passing saw
the ball land at the feet of left-back Jake Leahy.

He hit the ball 1st time from 25yds on the left-hand of the box.
As soon as he hit it you knew it was a goal with the ball
traveling about 3ft off the ground as it arrowed into the
keeper's left-hand side of the goal.

While we're offering a constant threat upfront, our defence
were keeping their forwards at bay quite comfortably.

On 44mins we doubled the lead when right-back Samuel Manufor
chased a lost cause. As a United defender was trying to shepherd the
ball out for a goal-kick, Sam crept behind him, kept the ball in,
advanced towards goal & put a low cross for Lorenzo Strachan to
tap in from 6yds at the near-post. 2-0 ht.

Early in the 2nd half, Strachan got his second when he was found with
a lovely pass down the left by Jake Leahy, As the keeper came out to
the corner of the box, Lorenzo lobbed the ball into the empty net
from 20yds. 3-0 on 56 mins & that was the final result.

For the 2nd half we saw four subs come on;
Luka Radojevic, Jaiden Putman, Mehmet Recber & Gabriel Cuthbert.
