Kevin Gallen on Andre Gray.....

Post by Steve Russell »

From West London Sport...

Kevin Gallen has criticised Andre Gray for his performance in QPR’s FA Cup tie against Rotherham.

The on-loan Watford striker has been poor at times this season and former Rangers forward Gallen didn’t like what he saw of Gray at the weekend.

“Andre Gray, the body language didn’t look right,” he said on West London Sport’s podcast (video above).

“Technically, he wasn’t very good, but what was a bit worrying for me was his body language and lack of running.

“I didn’t like the waving of his hands in the air and the lack of energy.

“George Thomas, to be fair, had a right go. Andre Gray, he didn’t.”

Kevin was joined by West London Sport’s Dan Bennett, Ian McCullough and Ben Kosky – Ian described Gray’s display as “a disgrace”.

They also discussed the arrival of keeper David Marshall and the possibility of more new signings coming in soon.

You would think players like Gray would jump at the chance of putting themselves in the shop window at the end of their careers or is it a case of I’ve stashed enough money away and I will keep out of trouble on the field but just do enough to make it look like I care?
Leaving ‘the goal’ apart he has contributed very little and if we can he should be sent back to sit on Watford’s bench at best. We could at least put a player in from the U23 team who would at least look like he is trying.
Wells he is not and he has been like Walker one of the loan players we have had who played as if they cared.
