Sad news from the Club:
'It is with great sadness that the club has learned of the passing of 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 at the age of 75.
Jones joined QPR from Crystal Palace in March 2010 as Neil Warnock’s assistant.
The quietly-spoken Jones was a trusted aide of Warnock and played an integral role in the club’s
success during their time at Loftus Road.
Their first target after switching South London for West London was to steer the R’s clear
of relegation, something which was achieved by collecting 20 points from their 14 games
at the helm in the latter stages of 2009/10.
The following campaign saw QPR storm to promotion glory as they won the Championship with some
breath-taking and enjoyable football.
Jones departed W12 in January 2012 along with Warnock.
The club’s condolences and thoughts are with Mick’s family at this difficult time.
May he Rest in Peace'
