Re: Sheffield Wednesday: Another Sell-Out Today!

Yes Steveqpr881 lets hope that dire performance was a one off. Y'know thinking back a short while
you could easily draw comparisons with that 1-0 defeat at Stoke City....another dross team

Re: Sheffield Wednesday: Another Sell-Out Today!

It was good to meet up with Colin Steve R and Bill at the game. Well said Colin. Spot on with those comments I must say I was shocked at the truly awful performance by the R's. :o This was as bad as any of those dire games under Ainsworth. We made little attempt to play any decent football. Mind you...

Re: Jude the Cat

The boy Zico is still posting on the Loft For Words website message board.

I recently noted a lengthy script from him on the sad death of Stan Bowles

Why is he no longer posting on the independent R's Website?
We should be told
But we wont be.
Sort it out. ;)

Re: Stan's funeral

Steve. I hope to be there by 11.00 am. I think Martin Beattie is going and one or two other Manchester R's.

I understand the Chapel Crematorium at Blackley holds 300 persons maximum but probably still too many
there to be able to get inside. No chance at the Church I reckon

Re: Stan's funeral

Yes Steve that's about right. From the other main Station at Victoria slightly less say 15 min walk.

The Chapel Crematorium at Blackley is further out in a northerly direction. Not a great distance away but
you will need to catch a bus.
