Re: Stan Bowles
One of the QPR all time greats. Very sad news.
Obviously I have many memories of his playing days but the one thing that really stood out for me was
when he turned up at Long time supporter Paul Gooch's funeral a few years back at Mortlake Cemetery.
A real noble gesture on his part.

Re: Remembering Neil Roberts on this Day....
I did not know Neil Roberts but the first 3 years of my life 1948 to 1951 I lived at 47 Nasmyth Street.
I was born at Hammersmith Hospital in 1948.
Neil was some nine years younger than me. Sad. May he rest in peace.

Re: Bristol City: 2,457 Tickets Sold
A vital victory.
We play well against Blackburn Norwich and Bristol City. So why that Cack of a performance against rubbish Stoke City
The sick man of the Championship
I demand a Football league enquiry

Re: Stoke Last Night....
What a massive let down. How could we produce such an inept performance against a poor team like Stoke?

Midweek Steveqpr 881. Not going. Public transport presents far too many problems for me getting home.
If the game was on a weekend I would certainly have been there.

Steve although at the time I was living in Askew Rd and six years old this incident is a piece of local history
that has completely passed me by. No recall at all.
I have posted up a comment on the homepage section

Yes I'll take that result and performance.

Re: West London Orbital Railway Line....
Steveqpr881. Yes I recall seeing those Western and Warship Diesels too at Old Oak. They were a relatively
new class at the time. The Sheds there were easy to get in and walk round (via the canal side) unlike
Nine Elms and Willesden and certain others where entry was strictly forbidden
