Re: 10 Development Squad Players to be Released...
I hope we don’t live to regret some of these departures. After such a good season for them very surprising and surprising the likes of Pedder are released. I suppose most are 21/22 age group so making way for U18’s and trialists. Fortunately we didn’t do the same in the mid sixties as they formed th...

Blackburn game
Important game for us today in Blackburn. I hope the up rather than down Blackburn turn up in their very mixed season. It brings back memories of the Brentford game in the sixties where we needed them to beat their opposition for us to get promotion. Despite a fair percentage of us Rs supporters bei...

Re: Sheffield Wednesday: Another Sell-Out Today!
We looked lethargic from the start. Why we persisted with the hoof it up to Armstrong system I do not know. It was obviously not working from the kick off. Armstrong is not a centre forward/target man. He lacks control, the ability to hold the ball up and is easily bullied off the ball choosing to c...

Re: Celebrity Deathwatch
Sad loss at a comparatively young age.
Had the pleasure of seeing him perform in Hammersmith Odeon in mid 70’s. Excellent live.

Re: Stan Bowles
Such a sad ending for a man who gave so much pleasure to those who watched him play. A truly great player in these days of ordinary players being praised for having only half the talent he had. When he joined in 1972 from Carlisle you just knew this was a special player. I think I’m correct in sayin...

The Pitch
Watching on tv yesterday I thought the pitch was very poor in places especially near the
Stanley B stand and it looked like a ploughed field in places.
This is unacceptable for a new pitch and several players commented on it.
Interesting to see if the club comment.

Re: Watford Game
So which Rs team will continue for the rest of the season? The one which has failed to produce consistent results under the last umpteen managers or one that will now knuckle down and get us out of the mess they have got us in. Unfortunately they now know their individual positions are secure with n...

Rumours
This apparent disconnect between the club and the Board not helped by the deafening silence recently is breeding all sorts of internet rumours concerning our financial situation. Also not helped by no new DOF appointment and the sudden departure of Ramsey. Such cost saving measures only breeds such ...
