Re: Possession

You have to wonder what is really going on behind the scenes. The team that demolished Leicester admittedly now missing Dembele who was very up and down and Madsen doesn’t suddenly collectively look so poor without a reason. The excellent interplay around the area from that match has gone. Players a...

Possession

Why have we such low possession figures whether home or away? I know possession is not everything but it presupposes we have the players to undertake fast counter attacks. We do not have many such players and the few that we have would find themselves without support. We just let poor teams grow in ...

Re: Christian Nourry

Long gone are the days of clubs having scouting systems where they would identify players after watching them several times. The Manager would then have a look himself then recommend the player to the Board if he was considered as being a needed player. It is obvious that we are not targeting the ar...

Re: Middlesbrough

The goalkeeper position has gone from a club with a long history of great goalkeepers to one you just do not notice the goalkeeper until he is frequently picking the ball up from the back of his net. That will be the next injury back strain for Walsh. Why do we keep playing him? He does not command ...

Re: Middlesbrough

He can’t even use the injury excuse now for not having a team that can at least play like a team. It has been so long now without certain players surely by now we can put together a side that can perform to a standard to avoid these humiliating defeats. We have a team playing in the main without pas...

Middlesbrough

One comment by Neil Warnock in Sky studio sums it up. He noticed Rs players laughing on the bench when substitutes were being made. That is an appalling situation and shows disrespect to the club and the manager has obviously lost the players. 0-11 goals aggregate in three games. I really cannot see...

Re: Julien Stephan

Following the end of Football Combination football most of our fringe players get little if any regular game time which is not helping. The odd game playing at Development level of football does little to prepare the younger players for what they experience in the Championship. Similarly experienced...

Re: Julien Stephan

I wonder who the last true manager was who had full control over players and tactics. There is a difference between a Head Coach who has players foisted on him and a Head Coach who gives his requirements to management. We obviously have the former as we are not addressing the areas of most need. On ...

Re: Julien Stephan

With players getting injured with monotonous regularity we will be lucky to get one point not four. The next “injury” will be Kone who seems to be stuck together with bandages etc. We will really be in the proverbial then and the opposition might as well dispense with a normal goalkeeper as we will ...

Re: Julien Stephan

Was at the game yesterday and there were only a couple of positives. The pitch looked better than it has for some time. Dunne and Edwards were excellent again but you could feel their frustration as their good work produced the need to defend again very quickly after clearing the ball. Why have we n...
