I seem to remember there was talk of buying White City and making it more suitable for football.
Yet another ‘what might have been’ in our nomadic history!

Re: Rangers' Return to the White City was a Total Washout
Remember the evening well and did it rain! Dad and I got the bus from Starch Green to corner of Goldhawk Rd and Bush Green to be met by hundreds of fans coming back from the White City saying the game is off. It became a soulless place to watch football with small crowds and only the odd pitc...

Re: Oxford Last Night....
All the more perplexing when there is an International break coming up. He removed our pace and creativity so no wonder we struggled. I thought Nardi looked very nervous last night and the Sky commentators were surprised Oxford did not play on his obvious weaknesses. Worrying that they are that well...

Re: Stoke Yesterday....
The goal reminded me of the Wembley Play Off goal. Robins after the match complained about the pitch saying it had been left long due to problems with the pitch requiring treatment. He also said he’d been told to wash everything that touched it!! Surprised we played on it if it was that toxic ...

Re: Coventry Game
Unfortunately for the manager he has put his head on the block saying it will be a different performance against Charlton. Of course he might not mean an improvement but a far worse performance (if possible) With some fans already on a short fuse a poor performance will prove toxic as previou...

Re: Coventry Game
Didn’t watch the game but followed. What worries me is that it was almost an entire team meltdown. These results in the past have suggested the manager has lost the team. Sackings usually follow within a few days. I know we have injuries, new players and a new manager adjusting to the Champio...

Re: Richard Kone?
The attraction to the Rs is that we have more modern treatment tables.
He has a long tradition of sicknoteability to uphold.

Re: Richard Kone?
But.. will we recognise a goal when it is scored?
It’s been so long since we had that pleasure.
Probably be an embarrassed silence when the first one goes in!
