Well everyone it’s our favourite time of the year when we give someone the gift of a
place in the fourth round.
Which lucky team will it be this year?

New direction for the Club?

Well Furlong was a winner so do we change to employ a loser?!
There must be more to this than disclosed and why has Paul never stepped
up to the first team?

Not the longest of journeys so surprising special trains were provided.
I did a similar train excursion in the sixties with my father but that was to Burnley so
justified to put on a special train.

Love the comments about the pitch.
Modern day footballers need to have experienced a game on the 50’s and 60’s pitches which
had to be knee deep in water or snow to be called off!

Would be nice to score from one of the umpteen corners we get!
When I think of the likes of Brian Bedford and Jim Towers at corners you realise how
poor we are.

Well done to the team and Young Kerrins for attending and his report. I’ve watched them several times over the past few seasons and we always seem to get stronger in the second half which is the sign of a good manager. We should also remember the many Rs supporters who were no longer standing
on the terraces supporting their team.

I lost my Grandfather and one of his brothers in WW1 and they were probably early Rs
fans.

By all accounts our new goalkeeper had an excellent game and offered many
things we do not get from Nardi.

Seemed to command his area and there was one comment he took out Dunne
in doing so during one cross!

Saying Hamer hasn’t played for over a year!!

Folly of not having a Football Combination type league.

I just hope he is more critical of the players in private as giving praise for any defeat is not acceptable. The trouble is he has no experience of one of the most demanding leagues in the world and I just hope he learns fast and we take the appropriate action should he fail before it is too late. C...
