Nothing to do with QPR or football in general, but deserves to be said. Reason I haven't been on here all week is that I've spent much of last Saturday to Tuesday in hospital. Had an infection 2 weeks ago, which seems to have sent my immune system into overdrive, leaving me with nasty, painful & bleeding rashes all up my legs. Went to the GP last week but it only got worse, so I went to A&E at 9am last Saturday (that's the time to go, if you can choose when to go - there were only 3 people waiting & I was seen in under half an hour!) Spent all day there eventually (so at least I missed the Boro game & saved a train fare!), NOT because of massive queues but because I saw 8 or 9 different people (from medic to consultant) & had all kinds of tests.Left A&E at 5pm, with an appointment booked to go in the following Monday; however, I took a turn for the worse Sunday night & was admitted to a ward. Had more tests & treatment on Monday - again, I must've seen 6 or 7 doctors & consultants - and by Tuesday afternoon I was well enough to be discharged. I'm still not 100%, but perfectly able to look after myself, with some medicine. After all the horror stories you read about the NHS, credit where credit's due - this is Reading's No. 1 hospital, the Royal Berks. Superb service & care all the way, even the food was fairly decent!

Looking on the bright side Steve, I missed the Boro game and saved myself the train fare, so not all bad news.
