This one's true.
A pregnant woman may urinate anywhere she needs to - even in a policeman's helmet.
As long as he's not wearing it at the time......

I watched a fascinating documentary about Duke Ellington last, he was an amazing man. He wrote hundreds of songs, took his big band on the road for years and still found time to win the Battle of Trafalgar!
Hats of to 'The Duke' -er,I thought that was John Wayne??

Over the last couple of days, I've been inundated with literally dozens of emails - well OK, 2 or 3 - actually none. But they all said the same thing: Steve, Duke Ellington didn't win the Battle of Trafalgar. Of course not,so let me put the record straight, the Battle of Trafalgar was, of course, won by Nelson. Nelson Riddle.

Another Interesting fact. And it's true.
French mustard has nothing to do with France, it was invented by a George France, of New York. Mon Dieu - zut alors!

In a similar vein; although London gin can be distilled anywhere, Plymouth gin can only be distilled in Plymouth.

Time to dust the cobwebs off this much-neglected by JD thread:
current Dr. Who, Peter Capaldi, was once secretary of the Dr. Who Fan Club!

The very first song ever played on BBC Radio 2 was "The Sound of Music,"
by Julie Andrews. Supercalifragilisticexpialidcious!
