From Wiki
Married to Amanda since 1989, the couple have two children: son, Jake (b 1993), and daughter, Ava (b 1996). They had a house in Bexley, Kent before Peacock started his theological studies, and a small holiday home in Canada in the Rocky Mountains.[9]

He started attending the local Methodist church at the age of 18 and soon afterwards became a Christian. Near the end of his career and after he retired he began preaching in his local church St Michaels and All Angels in Wilmington. He presented a feature on Football Focus about faith in the game in December 2006. He also presented Songs of Praise on 10 February 2008,[10] at the same time as his coverage of the Africa Cup of Nations final. Having studied theology from September 2006 at Ridley Hall, Cambridge, after completing his punditry duties at Euro 2008, he moved to Canada for a three-year masters course in divinity at Ambrose Seminary.[11] with the intention of becoming a minister. He is currently an Elder and Pastor at Calvary Grace Church in Calgary.[12] He recently co-authored The Grand Design, a book on biblical manhood and womanhood. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Grand-Design-M ... 1781917647

Should ask him to pray for us! We certainly need it!

Would prayer work? Nothing else seems to.

This is a new "I didn't know that" thread.

Anyone got any obscure QPR (or not) facts that are maybe not known to us all?

DO try & keep up, Jd, this is old news.
btw, slightly disturbing to hear you find him gorgeous....

Anyway, this reminds me of the old thread we used to do on MadRangersFans - Well I Never (?)
Here's one (non-QPR related): Ants never sleep - FACT.

It might be old news to you, but I didn't know.

I knew in primary school that ants never sleep though.

It's not " well I never" it's "I didn't know that" and it isn't a daily thread, it's an "as and when" open to anyone with an interesting fact.

Did you know that an Economist is a person who knows everything...but can predict nothing.

Well I never

Rick Stein, that TV chef fella, had German parents, and started out doing freeze-dried curries in his own night-club in Cornwall.

Stone me!

Some of you probably know this. Alan Carr "chatty man" is the son of Northampton hard man half back of the 1960's Graham Carr.

Surely some mistake? :)

Thanks Steve, lovely to be here. I haven't really been away, I just have a different concept of time. Which reminds me, Einstein said space is curved, and time is relative, do I make me right? Therefore would it be true to say that a chubby family relation has more problems with time-management? Shirley Knott!

Today's "Well, I Never:"
Anyone who's facebook friends with JD will know he's always posting reviews of cafes & restaurants in Woking. He likes to eat out - in fact, he'll eat owt! His last meal was a large portion of alphabet soup; he's expecting a vowel movement soon. Well, I never!
