Good news from the Offy Site...

QPR UNDER-18s got back to winning ways at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

Three first-half goals did the damage in south London for Paul Furlong’s youngsters, who ended the game a man light following Nathaniel Orafu’s second-half dismissal.

Orafu was the hero earlier in the day – opening the scoring inside four minutes. Shiloh Remy doubled the R’s lead on 18 minutes before Bummi Babajide added a third before the break.

Orafu saw red just after the hour-mark, shortly before Charlton pulled a goal back.

There was to be no grandstand finish, though, as Furlong’s youngsters saw out the victory.

Next up for the Under-18s is a visit from Colchester United to Heston this weekend.

QPR U18: Trialist, Williams-Lowe, Trialist, Orafu, Carlyle (Kargbo 60), Gubbins, Callender, Remy, Babajide, Frailing, Mema (Brooks 60).

Goals: Orafu 4, Remy 18, Babajide 36.

Booked: Carlyle.

Sent off: Orafu.
