Chris's match report taken from the Indy's Facebook page.....

QPR under 18s lost at home to Bristol City on Saturday morning at Heston. In a game of very few chances it was decided by one goal in the second half.

First half was a very cagey affair with only one chance for either team. On 30 minutes our keeper Tyla Dickinson palmed a cross cum shot out for a corner.

Then up the other end Dillon Da Silva went on a run down the right wing. With the City number 6 trailing him he did really well to get to the byline and cross into the danger area.

First Jake Frailing had a shot blocked on the line and the rebound was returned by Marcus Brooks and somehow the City keeper kept it out on the line while lying on the deck following the first save. HT 0-0. It was anyone's game

On 51 minutes City launched a free kick from the left touchline to the far post where City's Joe Low saw his point blank header saved superbly by Tyla Dickinson.

It was at this point I said to mates 'one goal will win this'. And so it was as City scored the only goal on 66 minutes following a swift counter attack.

For the remainder of the game City were in control and kept the ball very well. They were stronger in the tackle and the two centre backs kept our forwards at bay, one of whom (Bradley Webb) was on our Academy books about 5 years ago.

Furlong made 3 changes on about 70 minutes with Williams-Lowe, Mahorn and Fahmy replacing Drewe, Frailing and Gubbins respectively.

In the last 5 minutes we put City under a lot of pressure. On 86 minutes Marcus Brooks went down the left wing and attacking the right back as he entered the box the ball was stopped by the right backs arm as Brooks went past him. For some odd reason the referee waved play on despite clearly seeing the incident.

Then with seconds remaining Nathan Carlyle got to the byline and crossed into the box where a shot , sending the keeper the wrong way, was then deflected by a defenders knee into a grateful keepers arms. It was the last action in a game of very few chances.

With no sign of recent trialists Jaheim Rose or Oluwabumni Babajide upfront and continued absence of regular forward Charley Kendall, we struggled a bit upfront to create chances and both defences played very well.
