Once again - how many players are we going to be linked with and how many will we actually sign? About 8 weeks until transfer will happen and we've got the World Cup to keep the Journo writing nonsense. Still reckon we'll be around 30 linked who dont join. I'll start with the main rumours doing the rounds at the moment. InGKJoe Lewis - Peterborough Paddy Kenny - Sheff Utd DONESperoni - Palarse Simonsen - Stoke DefTamika Mkandawire - Leyton Orient - To MillwallBradley Orr - Bristol City DONE Clint Hill - Palarse DONENeil Danns- Palarse Moritz Volz - unattached - To St PauliTosic - Portsmouth Ian Harte - Carlisle Rob Kozluk - Barnsley MidShaun Derry - Palarse DONE Jordan Hibbert unattached (via Barnsley) DONEDarren Carter - Preston MArk Walters - Ipswich Neil Hendrie - Carlisle Neil Kilkenny - Leeds Yannick Bolarsie - Plymouth Darren Ambrose - Palarse. Staying - signed 3yr contractTaarabt - Spuds DONELloyd Sam - Charlton Jobi McAnuff - Reading StrikerMarlon King - HMP Peltier - Huddersfield Roman Bednar - WBA Luke Freeman - Arsenal (loan) to Yeovil - loanTommy Smith - Portsmouth Derek Riordan - Hibs Rob Hulse - Derby Simpson- Arsenal Hooper- Scunthorpe --> CelticJamie Mackie - Plymouth DONE Leon Clarke - Shef Weds DONELuke Varney- Derby. Possible 6 month loan? Jason Roberts- Blackburn. Negotiating deal? Nile Ranger- Newcastle OutStewart - Bristol City - probably not quite enough Cook Balanta - MK Dons - season long loan Hall - committed to QPR Mahon - out of Contract - not yet offered a new one. Leigertwood Pellicori Alberti - AC Lumezzane DONE (Only season long Loan) Quashie - Left by the back door Helguson Agyemang Vine - Wants away as not figuring in Warnocks plans Faurlin

The 'Outs' look good... but I kinda think Taarbs might join 'em.
Expect one or two from Palace that's for sure. Their keeper is apparently top class. Every time I see him on the box he's impressive.
However... I fully expect to be underwhelmed. I'm pleased we are not in Palace/Charlton/Pompy's position, but when you glance down the road and see what Mr Fyad has achieved, it makes you wonder just how committed our owners have been. We shall soon find out just what the intentions of the Mittels are.

We could try the one written in AKUTRs where Sheff Wed were going to sign Terry Henfleet, a Scottish winger, from Stoke. Trouble was he didn't exist. It was just a rumour started by someone as a joke.
Needless to say journalists picked it up and ran with it for a while.
In addition to your list, I've already heard about Hoyte from Boro, the return of Dan $hittu, Nick Montgomery

Faulin leaving? Where will we replace his goals? As prolific as Gary Waddock. Not the midfielder Celtic are missing. As for Shittu, Carlisle, or Steve Wicks... their time at Rangers has passed.

Speroni is the best keeper in the championship by a (devonshire) country mile. Way above Cerny!

Rob Kozluk of Barnsley being linked - played under Warnock previously - but doesnt strike me as a promotion type player - More Tommy Williams then Tosic i'd have thought....Again - i'd say this was Agent speak

Darius Henderson 19 goals in 72 games (1 in 4, including penalties) wants £14k per week. Shaun Derry seen at Loftus Road. Please God that isn't true.

Jamie Mackie has signed...no messing about. 4 year contract sounds a bit long - unless he's brilliant!

Argyle supporters in the main seem sorry to see Jamie Mackie go. He is regarded as a hard working support striker. Only 8 goals last season. Undisclosed fee but have heard it was £1.5 million and Argyle snapped QPR's hand off. Only time will tell....
