Anyone remember Charlie Ferris? from the local Gazette in 1957...

'Officials at QPR's ground at Loftus Rd are against a nutty problem - peanuts! Supporters have been complaining that bags of peanuts they buy inside the ground are bad value.

"But these peanuts are not being sold by the refreshment kiosks in the ground," said secretary George Hurley this week, "Spivs and wide boys bring them into the ground without permission. When we catch them we have them put out the ground."

Thanks to Colin for sending me that.
