Team: Lumley, Furlong, Monthe, Comley, Downs, Kpekwa, Petrasso, Mitchell, Skapetis, Hunt-Laurent, Fitzpatrick It’s always windy in the wide open spaces of the Harlington training ground. This time, we are informed, the polar jet stream is responsible for the current cold snap. U21 Professional Development League Two – South Team: Lennox, Harriman, Magri, Parmenter, Ehmer, Sutherland, Andrade, Doughty, Hewitt, Balanta, Sharif After losing their first game in this league 0-1 against Charlton, Rangers bounced back to win their next two against Millwall and Cardiff City respectively. The temperature was still rising at Harlington as the R’s first match in the U18’s Professional Development League 2 (South) got underway. Ian Cooper reported recently on some very exciting news for Steve Gallen and the Club: QPR Youth Development Manager Steve Gallen hailed a ‘huge step forward’ for the club after the Premier League confirmed they will be granted category two status next season. Two weeks ago the U18’s took on Crawley Town at Harlington and lined up as follows:- Trani, McDonnell, Walker, Champion, Downes, Sendles-White, Sutherland, Comley, Andrade, Monthe, Webb With Gareth Deane still unavailable, it was an opportunity for Tommaso Trani to finally make his debut, all six foot seven inches of him. Team: Lumley, McDonnell, Walker, Champion, Brown, Sendles-White, Sutherland, Comley, Gibbons, Monthe, Webb. Frankie Sutherland was back after playing for the Irish U19’s against Turkey. Bruno Andrade was apparently unwell and Gareth Deane, Marcel Henry-Francis and Bradley Simmonds were still nursing injuries.
