Well Done to our U14's.....

Post by Steve Russell »

Big well done to our U14s, news from the Club,

'Congratulations to the U14s who returned home victorious from a recent tournament in Belgium.

Rangers claimed victory in the Mechelen Rising Stars U14 competition, which included fellow Londoners
West Ham United and Dutch giants Feyenoord, among other teams.

QPR qualified for the finals by finishing second in the group stages, behind Feyenoord, after day one.
We overcame West Ham on penalties in the semi-finals, who had a clean sweep in their group.

Rangers beat KV Mechelen, the hosts, with a last-minute header by Jonas Cody in the final.

Will Lambert - QPR’s head of academy operations - told us: “We are delighted that we can provide these
international opportunities to our young players in partnership with Orange Veins.

"These experiences are integral to their development at the academy, and undoubtedly enrich them on
and off the pitch.

"We hope that the players continue to relish their time and that this leads to more success like this in the
future."

Many congratulations to all involved!'
