Team: Green, Hughes, Onuoha, Dunne, Hill, Benayoun, Kranjcar (O’Neil), Carroll, Barton (Henry), Morrison (Suk-Young), Zamora. Subs Not Used: Murphy, Simpson, Hoilett, Keane. Middlesbrough v QPR Team: Green, Hughes, Onuoha, Hill, Suk-Young, Benayoun (O’Neil), Kranjcar (Hoilett), Carroll, Barton, Morrison, Keane (Zamora). Subs Not Used: Murphy, Simpson, Donaldson, Petrasso. Attendance: 15,075 (including 533 R’s fans) Middlesbrough pressed the self-destruct button in stoppage time and crashed to a 3-1 home defeat to QPR. Boro had led through George Friend, but Yossi Benayoun equalised and the game appeared to be heading for a draw. In Memory of Francis Alan Duguid

Frank’s funeral was held last week at All Saints Church, Clydesdale Road in Notting Hill. Also there were Joe Hylton, Nick, Michael Whelan and his brother James. Apart from the R’s contingent there were also many who had worked with Frank (and Joe) at Westbourne Park Bus Garage. Joe was a Bus Driver and amazingly both Frankie and his dad had been Bus Conductors (at different times of course) on Joe’s No. 7 bus. I’d never met Frank’s dad before … Continue reading
