The venue for the Irish R’s meet-up on 9th November for the live screening of our away match against Reading has had to be changed. It was going to be held in O’Driscolls Bar in the village of Graiguenamanagh, but because of the numbers now wishing to attend Eamonn has had to find somewhere else.
He also informs me that another reason for the switch was that the village didn’t have the range of accommodation to cater for the number of people wishing to stay overnight.
Therefore, the meet-up will now be held at Breathnachs Bar, John Street in Kilkenny City. They are setting aside a large area for the Irish R’s and the game will be shown on a big screen. There are also five other TV’s located in the same area.
Eamonn and some of his friends will be staying in the Springhill Court Hotel. It’s a 4-star hotel with a pool and gym, but there are also a number of other hotels plus bed and breakfast accommodation in the area to suit all pockets.
He sends his apologies for any inconvenience caused, but he maintains that this new venue is better suited for the meet-up.
