Don’t Blame The Fans !

The following letter was written by Philippa Cohen (Miss) of Cricklewood and appeared in the Willesden Chronicle on 4th November, 1949…. Dear Sir, Oh dear ! What can the matter be ? Every time QPR strike a bad patch the management turn on the supporters. We can’t shout anything right. After a number of missed penalties, we yell who we think should take the spot kick. The following week a reprimand appears in the programmes – it’s all our fault … Continue reading

A pulsating  game of two halves saw QPR thump Middlesbrough 3-0 to go some way to paying them back for the humiliating 1-5 reverse in the corresponding fixture last season. Rangers Take Pride

Posted on by Site Admin

It’s well documented that Pride Park and Derby away in particular, is our ‘lucky’ ground, having not lost in the City since 10th February, 1990, when we lost 0-2 in the top tier of English football. But believe me, on Saturday, Pride Park became our ‘luckiest’ ground we’ll ever play at this season having snatched a point from what seemed an unassailable lead.
