Merry Christmas From The Indy R’s

May we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a healthy, prosperous New Year.
We extend our thanks to everyone that has contributed to the website over the last 12 months and supported our fundraising for the QPR Centre of Excellence and QPR in the Community.

Currently we are also raising funds for the Paddington Royal British Legion and all the monies will be presented to them early in the New Year. On the pitch, we witnessed briefly, some of the best football probably for over 20 years and then we were all over the media once again for the wrong reasons. Unfortunately the Board/fan divide has widened and many fans still feel that they are treated with contempt and it’s hard to see how this will change in the foreseeable future.

  1. Happy Christmas and a great new year to all R’s fans and especially to the hardworking folks that run the message boards and independent web sites that contribute to the QPR community. Lets hope we have less to complain about in 2010 as 2009 has been a bumper year for justified moaning.

Was there no interaction with management on the fun day? I couldn’t get there from Somerset as it was a workday for me, although my two girls wanted to brave the cold – it couldn’t be colder than the paddocks on Saturday.

It would be great if we could have a regular fans forum to build bridges between fans and management, although this would mean calm sensible behaviour from both sides and I’m not sure the management are capable of sustaining that even if the fans are. Perhaps PH could be the one to make it happen or is he just warming the chair for Curbs?

  2. ‘Interesting Ladbroke Grove Pic Steve’

Only because you feature in it Kerrins!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to Steve, Kerrins and all who make this such an interesting and informative site.

  3. Colin..Full of festive humour and quips I see! lol

Sigh…the only thing missing from this sesonal time of the year are those board games of RISK in the comfort of No 60 Kelmscott Gardens.

On behalf of Dave Minor Geoff Murrell Ray Wannell and myself…thank you Colin…. Merry Christmas and Happy New year.

  4. No probs Bernie! Those were the days!
The only reason I could state you were in it was the fact that I had just caught the train above and I obviously do not feature! However, they did get your better side from examination under the electron microscope!
Any Christmas cheer I had has now been sucked out of me by the Ipswich result!!!
