Perry Weston wants to hear from anyone that might be interested in coach travel from the mid/north Hertfordshire area. He is looking to organising coaches to travel to northern away matches. He says that he might struggle to do anything before Christmas but the Cup tie at Manchester United in November could now be a possibility. Otherwise he was thinking of Derby on 17th January and then perhaps Nottingham Forest a month later. Perry has run coaches before, namely to Cardiff for the play-off final and Sheffield Wednesday. Both coaches were full.
Chris Day’s wife travelled with them to Hillsborough as they live in Stevenage. After the game, they headed back to Perry’s local. One of his mates who supports Chelsea was there to take the mick but was surprised to see how many R’s fans were partying ! “Bloody Hell” he said. “I’ve never seen so many QPR fans.” As he said that someone could be heard walking down the road singing ‘Come On You R’s.’ “Another one” he said. “No that’s our goalkeeper” I replied and yes it was Chris, just getting back from Sheffield.
