Press Coverage Of Our Recent Award To Aaron Goode

The Evening Standard and the local Gazette picked up on our recent Presentation to Aaron Goode and shown below is what they had to say about it:-

Evening Standard
“Stabbed to death trying to break up s schoolyard fight last May, the memory of 15 year old QPR youngster Kiyan Prince is being kept alive by a group of dedicated Rangers fans. The Independent R’s website, which has no connection with the Club, have inaugurated a QPR Youth Player of the Year award in memory of Kiyan Prince. Its first winner, Aaron Goode, 17, was presented with the trophy at the Club’s Training Ground last Friday at a ceremony attended by Kiyan’s parents, Mark Prince and Tracy Cumberbatch.”

Local Gazette
“Promising QPR defender Aaron Goode has won the ‘Kiyan Prince Youth Team Player Of The Year’ award. The award was founded by fans’ group, ‘The Independent R’s’ and is named after Kiyan Prince, the R’s youth team forward who was stabbed to death outside his school a year ago. He was just 15. Kiyan’s parents, Mark and Tracy, attended the presentation at QPR’s Harlington Training Ground. Goode, 17, has played for the reserves this year at right back.”
